YES! I am addicted to tv series - or something even MORE THAN THAT! I even watch them when I know there was not enough budget to give the series a proper ending (which I hate nontheless). I am crazy. That's a fact. But nevertheless:
If anyone can recommend a good mystery / fantasy series I would be more than pleased... I am currently searching the web for more but I seem to have got to a dead end.

Since I know that some of you guys are searching the web like me for good mysterie series, I will write down those that I think to be really good.

Good Series with a proper Ending

True Blood (3 seasons, still being produced)
Vampire Diaries (2 seasons, still being produced)
Sanctuary (VFX could be better, good story - still being produced)
Haven (1 season, still being produced I hope!)
The Gates (1 season, I think there will be more)
Being Human (2 seasons, eagerly waiting for the third)

Good Series I think need more Seasons

new PC for 3d & Simulations

All my new PC components serve me now as a brandnew supercool, no, wait, AWESOME PC. Although Phil and I already build it two days ago, I cannot stop wondering that it went so well and that every component survived... After all it is my first PC that was not build by others... Yeah, but I got lots of help by Phil - thank you, you are awesome! :-D

I use the PC for 3d, simulations and other digital stuff. The components actually are server components. It was the best I could get for the relatively low price I paid ;-)

Maybe it is of use to you guys, so here are some of the components:

That's a portrait of Phil - he actually is the owner of the Promenade Blog (surreptitious ad *yay*) and one of my bestEST (yeah, I wrote it wrong on purpose!) friends. The picture was drawn in one of my most favourite coffe houses in Salzburg while I was enjoying a cup of tee :-D I know the drawing is nothing special compared to better drawers, but I really like how I drew the look on his face.

Get Up Earlier (QPT 2)

This animation is the final project of my first year with the emphasis on 3d animation. My tasks were lighting, shading, dynamics indoor, rendering, as well as the animation of 6 scenes (bath x 3, coffee scene, dragon gets his suitcase, dragon throws the suitcase on his bed). Besides, I did the compositing for the whole project. Well, I did approximately 90% of the scenes indoor, whereas Ömer Yürekli worked on nearly every scene outside. Unfortunately there was not much time to tackle problems (such as the animation of the dragon) and some team members did not want to work that much for the project - what is rather uncool because a team is only that good as the contribution of all members.

VIDEO. Here is another fun TRASH video. The task for the video was to show a day of something or someone. I decided to tell the story of a flute. Again, I am sorry, the little that is spoken is in German, but it is easy to follow the story without understanding a word.

INTERNSHIP. As a student at the University of Applied Sciences in Salzburg, class: MultiMediaArt 3d, I had to apply for an internship. Guess what? I already got one at FreshFX, which is a small, but rather good company located in Salzburg. They specialise in (V)FX but are as well good at 2d animation. I chose FreshFX for several reasons:

First of all it is a small company, which means that your tasks will not only cover rotoscoping work (haha) but a wide range of every task possible within the field of VFX. Another reason why I picked FreshFX is the more than just comfortable working atmosphere. I also had the chance to work for DLF (another company in Salzburg), Morro Images and Scanline, but FreshFX was the company I knew I would learn the most from (because of its size) - which for me is one of the most important things when searching a company in which you want to do an internship (in fact more important than the name of the company).
Besides, with a job in Salzburg, I don't have to move and waste money *yay*! So, lucky me!

HEY. No one can longer deny the value of blogs - not even me. Muhaha! Where else should I publish my work, as well as prove the existence of my creativity to the world or even just bombard you with trash ;-p?
